The Semacon S-960 Cordless Automatic Currency Authenticator was designed with state of the art measurement sensors and Semacon's SmartCert banknote analysis technology for the advanced detection of U.S. counterfeit banknotes. These machines are used by government and law enforcement agencies, banks, credit unions, casinos, retail stores and other industries. They feature compact size, heavy duty construction, accuracy and ease of use. Also, the S-960 features an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery which enables the machine to be used dwith or without an AC power cord. While plugged in, the battery is automatically recharged. While in battery mode the machine will operate for 10-14 hours depending on the frequency of use. Banknotes are processed at a rate of 80 per minute. Authenticated notes may be ejected through the rear of the machine or returned to the feed tray and cause the PASS indicator to be illuminated. Suspects notes are returned to the feed tray and cause the machine to beep and the FAIL indicator to be illuminated. All Semacon machines are extensively tested and burned in under rigorous conditions in the manufactures U.S. facility, assuring the highest possible quality and reliability.
