For those of us who like to use direct-fit capsules to encase a Coin, the Air-Tire Direct-Fit is, without a doubt, the best in the marketplace. I’ve used Air-Tites for more than 15 years. Occasionally, I’ve experimented with similar capsules made by other manufacturers, but none compare with the durability, quality, and perfection of an Air-Tite capsule. Had I a complaint, I would wish that the capsules would be more scratch resistant. In fact, I would be more than willing to pay even double the already extremely reasonable [retail] price of an individually packaged Air-Tire Direct-Fit Capsule, as a scratch-resistant, outer surface will substantially prolong the life of a given capsule. However, if you’re wondering who makes the best direct-fit capsule for your valuable coins, be assured it’s Air-Tite.
