All the coin capsules I bought were clear and fit perfect.

Guardhouse Silver Eagle Size Coin Capsule 40.6 mm, These capsules are meant to display rather expensive and attractive silver coins. I bought a couple of these, one was so tight I had to force the coin into it, but the lid doesn't stay on at all, it's super loose. The 2nd one had a small crack on the side of the lid. So as far as displaying the coins goes, I wont be using these capsules. They are pretty inexpensive, so sending them back is senseless. But, lesson learned.
