After not liking the round airtights "made by others" because they pop open too easy, this product works a lot better. Now I want a storage box to hold the filled ones. Cardboard is not strong enough to hold the ounces of weight.
I like these holders for my Morgan Dollars. The look is what I wanted. Only issue I have is that I need to trim a small area of flashing off each half of the case.
The cases are of good quality and my coins look great in them. When you put the proper sized coin in the foam (or rubber or whatever) insert, you have to squeeze it in there. At first I thought they had sent me the wrong size until I realized that it has to be that snug to hold the coin in place (especially the bigger ones). The only thing that I didn't really care for was that there were bits of plastic sticking out of some of the edges where they had been snapped off of the tree when they were molded. It doesn't hurt anything but it is a little unsightly. Some people might want to take the time to sand or cut these smooth just for appearances. The most challenging part to using these cases was figuring out how they snap back together. I had quite a struggle with a few of them until I took the time to stop and look how the case was constructed. Once I learned that, it was a snap (no pun intended). This just proves to me that you have to be smarter than the plastic case you're trying to reassemble. I would recommend these cased for protecting and displaying your coins.
Multi-Purpose Silver Round 2x2 Coin Holders are just the thing for the variety of rounds and coins I have collected. In fact, they worked so well, I ordered 3 more boxes! These solve the storage problem too by keeping them in these holders the coins and rounds are organized and easily stored now. They are an affordable option and I would totally say a great deal too!
