Contrary to popular belief, Coin Dealers and Collectors are not always sporting their Bausch & Lomb 7X Hastings Triplet Magnifiers. Most of the time, I am using a 3x loupe. The 3x loupe is good for 99% of the grading and verification I do. The lens is large and I get a good view of the surface of the coin. Got a weird DDO and need more magnification? Bring out the Big Boys. Otherwise, this is the go-to loupe.
