I'm new to collecting pennies and I wanted something to hold and display them and these staple coin flips work fine. A regular stapler works to secure them in the flips.

Robust flips

Pros:
  • Sturdy
  • Robust
Cons:
  • A little harder to staple
As the product description already states, these Cowens 2x2 Flips are thicker and more robust than other flips on the market. I like them but my only complaint is that the large dollar flips require more than 4 staples. Because silver dollars are thick and large, they leave little openings where the flips are Not stapled, so you want to staple all across the edges to make sure that the coin will be fully protected. Other sizes should not have this problem because there is considerably less stress on the flip and it therefore will not bulge out. All silver dollar flips have some difficulty because so much surface area of the flip itself is fully occupied by the coin.
